information regarding LG Battery Backup:<\/p>\n<p>LG Battery Backup is the only TRUE battery backup option Freedom offers. The cost is a $9,450 adder p\/battery (this does not include dealer fees). This can only be installed with the SolarEdge StorEdge 3800 or 7600 inverter (depending on system size and 2 LG batteries can be installed on 1 3800 or 7600 StorEdge). If the power goes out, this will kick in and supply power to a select <strong>few critical circuits only<\/strong>. The most important thing about selling the battery backup is to set proper expectations with the homeowner. <strong>1 QTY battery backup will NOT backup the \u201centire\u201d home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For example, one (1) battery may only provide power to the kitchen lights and the refrigerator during an outage. If your customer would like to supply power to more circuits, they will have to buy multiple batteries.<\/p>\n<p>If a customer wants to purchase battery backup sometime AFTER the install, an inverter upgrade may be required at an extra charge along with a Truck Roll fee, labor, and revised permit cost.<\/p>\n<p>As for the battery backup solution, these devices only work when the power goes out completely.
